Job Purpose

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing and communication goals. This role involves creating and curating high-quality content, managing social media campaigns, and engaging with online communities to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a social media strategy, conduct audits, and analyze performance metrics to inform future strategies.
  2. Content Creation: Create engaging content for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including text, images, videos, and live streams.
  3. Social Media Management: Manage and schedule content, monitor, and respond to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally.
  4. Campaign Execution: Plan and execute campaigns to promote products, services, or events, collaborating with influencers and partners.
  5. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics, providing regular reports and insights.
Other Responsibilities:
  1. Brand Monitoring: Monitor social media conversations, identify trends, opportunities, and issues.
  2. Influencer Partnerships: Identify and manage relationships with influencers and partners.
  3. Content Calendar: Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing goals.
  4. Social Media Advertising: Plan and execute advertising campaigns, manage budgets, and optimize performance.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or related field
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Knowledge of additional languages and understanding of local languages is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Professionalism with strong HR management and business acumen skills
