A dynamic company seeks a remote Social Media Manager to enhance the digital presence of diverse hospitality projects in Indonesia. You’ll collaborate closely with the founder to create impactful social strategy and engaging content that drives bookings and community interactions.
We’re hiring a creative and hands-on Social Media Manager to elevate the digital presence of a growing portfolio of hospitality projects in Lombok, Indonesia — including boutique resorts, restaurants, and beachfront bars. You’ll work directly with the founder and a local content team to transform raw visuals into engaging content that drives bookings, visibility, and online engagement.
Location: Remote (Indonesia-based)
Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Engagement: Independent Contractor
Rate:$800-$1400 (depending on level of experience)
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a multi-brand content strategy
Set up and grow new social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
Create and manage monthly content calendars aligned with business goals
Content Creation & Management
Transform raw videos and photos into compelling Reels, Stories, and posts
Write brand-aligned captions and apply relevant hashtags
Schedule and manage posts using tools like Meta Business Suite or Later
Community Engagement & Ad Management
Respond to comments and messages in a brand-consistent tone
Run Meta Ads campaigns to increase awareness and bookings
Monitor performance and suggest strategy adjustments based on analytics
Collaboration & Tools
Work closely with the founder and local creators
Use Canva and AI tools to streamline content ideation and creation
Qualifications
Must-Have
At least 3 years of experience managing social media for hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle brands
Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and algorithms
Proficiency in short-form video editing for Reels and TikTok
Experience with Meta Ads campaign setup and optimization
Excellent written English and communication skills
Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Nice-to-Have
Experience in resort or hotel marketing
Graphic design skills (Canva or similar)
Familiarity with UGC, influencer campaigns, or photography basics
