Our publication is a unique editorial and social impact project that showcases exceptional individuals and shares inspiring stories from both Europe and Asia. As we continue to grow internationally, social media has become a key driver of our expansion.

Position Overview
We’re on the lookout for a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Professional to take full ownership of our global digital presence. This is not a junior role or a student internship – we’re looking for an experienced leader with vision, initiative, and the skill to build and scale thriving digital communities across continents and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a high-impact content and growth strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook.
- Drive brand awareness, engagement, and credibility through smart storytelling and platform-native content.
- Position Britishpedia as a globally trusted, socially meaningful project, far beyond just a publication.
- Work closely with our teams in Europe and Malaysia to ensure a consistent, synergized global presence.
- Occasionally accompany editors to interviews/events to create engaging behind-the-scenes or highlight videos.
- Define and monitor key KPIs, analyze performance, and continuously optimize for reach, relevance, and results.
- Continuously grow our follower base across all platforms, tapping into the latest tools, formats, and trends.

Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in social media management, ideally in media, publishing, or lifestyle brands.
- Fluent/Native English speaker, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, algorithms, and current trends.
- Proven expertise in short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and storytelling formats that convert.
- Skilled in using tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, Buffer, Later, or similar.
- You think like a strategist, act like a creator, and move like an entrepreneur.
- Independent, organized, proactive – yet collaborative and team-oriented.
