About the job Social Media - Content Video Specialist

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for a highly creative and trend-aware Social Media Content Specialist who is passionate about storytelling and engaging digital audiences. The ideal candidate will have 13 years of hands-on experience in crafting social content, ideally within the fintech, P2P lending, or financial services sectors.

This role will play a key part in shaping our clients organic social media presence by producing compelling short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You will collaborate closely with marketing, content, design, and performance teams to drive audience growth and brand visibility.

A strong understanding of social media trends, audience behavior, and content performance metrics is essential familiarity with financial content is a bonus.

Requirements:

1. Content Creation & Video Production

Create, script, film, and edit engaging short-form videos tailored for social platforms.

Leverage trending sounds, formats, and storytelling techniques to boost content reach.

Collaborate with visual designers to enhance video content with graphics and animations.

2. Organic Strategy & Community Engagement

Develop and execute content strategies aligned with the company's brand and goals.

Maximize engagement through the use of relevant trends, hashtags, and platform features.

Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and community activity to foster interaction.

3. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

Track key metrics such as engagement rates, reach, and follower growth.

Partner with performance marketing to identify top-performing organic content for amplification.

Use insights to continuously refine content approach and increase effectiveness.

Align social content with broader marketing campaigns and brand direction.

Coordinate with the performance team to ensure synergy between organic and paid efforts.

Work with designers to maintain cohesive branding across platforms.

5. Trend Awareness & Creative Innovation

Stay on top of social trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.

Test out new content formats and viral challenges to stay ahead of the curve.

Propose and produce innovative ideas that resonate with target audiences.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or a related field.

- Experience: 1-3 years in social media content creation, with experience in TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and Meta platforms. Prior exposure to the fintech or financial services space is a strong advantage.


Skills
:

- Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (mandatory).

- Skilled in video editing tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or equivalents.

- In-depth knowledge of social media algorithms, engagement tactics, and platform best practices.

- Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities -capable of writing compelling captions and video hooks.

- Creative, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.

- Understanding of financial concepts like lending and debt consolidation is a plus.
