What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Drive the strategy and process for listening and responding to consumer conversations related to life at home and the IKEA brand within the digital environment. Lead social media efforts within campaign planning to ensure this channel supports overall marketing and visitation campaigns throughout the year.
- Plan, optimize, and develop online content including posts, videos, live streams, and engagement activities that meet customer needs, enhance brand positioning, foster customer relationships, and stimulate interest in home furnishing.
- Strategically plan, position, and manage creative communications across various social media platforms aligned with IKEA values and commercial priorities to contribute to business growth. Manage agency partners to optimize digital media platforms for IKEA.
- Identify opportunities and create synergies in the IKEA Indonesia market to enhance social media campaign effectiveness from a data-driven perspective.
- Support crisis management from a social media perspective, in coordination with Customer Relationship, PR, and web teams. Collaborate with Marketing to use digital media as an effective communication channel to promote home furnishing expertise to a broad consumer base.
- Secure stakeholder engagement to develop quality content and professional dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the development and engagement of digital media competencies within the organization by increasing knowledge and providing regular updates to the business.
We want you to be a person who:
- Has 5+ years of experience in social media and digital communications, preferably in customer-centric business, retail, or home furnishing sectors. Proven experience working with social media, digital communication, advertising agencies, marketing, and branding.
- Has management experience (managing agencies, briefings, processes, web care), along with project and process management skills.
- Possesses broad knowledge of communication and creative concept evaluation and judgment.
- Is up-to-date with the social media landscape, usage, measurements, and budget management (forecasting, goal setting, ROI).
- Is an excellent communicator in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbally and in writing.
