Social Media Officer Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experiences in social media management (Instagram, TikTok, and X)
  • Prior experience in managing finance, banking, and insurance brands is valuable.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
  • Familiarity with social media tools and software commonly used in creative projects.
  • Able to interpret performance data into actionable insights.
  • Able to brief copywriter, designer, and video creator to produce content that aligns with communication strategy.
  • Proactive mindset, detail-oriented, and digitally savvy.
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, result oriented.

Social Media Officer Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Calendar Management:

  • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars for all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and X.)
  • Coordinate with the copywriter, designer, and video creator to ensure timely delivery and alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Plan content based on communication strategy
  • Coordinate with media buying and influencer marketing team to align strategy

Cross Function Collaboration:

  • Brief copywriter and designer on content needs, tone, and messaging.
  • Align with video creator to ensure visuals and motion content match the copy and campaign direction.
  • Provide creative input and ensure messaging and aesthetics are cohesive across assets.
  • Align with media buying to boost content and ads strategy
  • Align with influence marketing to ensure influencer content match with campaign direction

Content Execution and Publishing:

  • Schedule and publish content using native platforms or social media management tools
  • Ensure all posts are optimized for platform-specific requirements (format, caption length, hashtags, tagging, etc.).
  • Maintain consistency in posting frequency and visual branding.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track key metrics (engagement rate, reach, follower growth, click-through rate, etc.) and generate weekly/monthly performance reports.
  • Analyze content performance to identify what works and recommend improvements.
  • Share actionable insights with the creative team to refine future content strategies.

Trend Monitoring & Idea Generation

  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activities.
  • Identify timely or trending topics for reactive content opportunities.
  • Propose new content formats or engagement ideas to boost performance and relevance.
