WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for a Site Manager to join our team based in Jakarta. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

The Site Manager conducts detailed monitoring and technical support to the whole operation & Laboratory activities. Collecting necessary information and detailed updates relating to the job handled. Responsible for ensuring the entire Quality monitoring pit to port & onsite laboratory services at related sites well monitored. Provide regular daily, weekly & monthly reports delivery to the client and communicate the job progress with the partners, evaluate finding and solve the potential problem that is related to the job. In addition, this position requires good communication, strategic & critical thinking, quick response with the related parties and good understanding of job procedure with client requirements. Also, I need to work closely with other departments to facilitate communication and coordination.

Furthermore, this role involves adhering to safety protocols, ensuring environmental compliance, and continuously seeking professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Essential

  • Expertise in Mining Activities and Quality Monitoring: In-depth knowledge of mining processes and quality assurance practices.
  • Proficiency in Coal Blending Assessment: Skilled in evaluating and optimizing coal blending to meet quality standards.
  • Quality and Quantity Assessment: Demonstrates accuracy and expertise in evaluating and maintaining quality and quantity standards.
  • Advanced Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet tools for effective data organization and interpretation.

Required Competencies

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other departments.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with coal quality basis to basis, quantity survey based on draft survey and weighbridges.

Required Work Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in mining, geologist or closely related field.
  • Minimum 1 years Experiences in related fields is preferred.
  • Experience of Coal Quality Monitoring Pit to Port & Laboratory Services is strongly recommended.
  • Experience of Coal Quality Control in related mining companies.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Coal Mining Regulation.
