Apply now for the Site General Manager position and play a key role in leading projects and operational aspects of site preparation, equipment installation and commissioning as well as long-term service of the Proton Therapy (PT) system.

The successful candidate will be a highly professional self-starter with a track record in a related field like medical equipment service or plant engineering and construction, capable of starting up and successfully managing the installation and commissioning of this Proton System.

Your Role:
  • You will work closely with the Customer Project Manager.
  • You will manage all aspects of installation and room commissioning for customer sites for VMS’s proton therapy products by planning and coordinating the optimal use of company and external resources to provide the highest level of service.
  • You will coordinate technical and administrative support activities including repair, preventative maintenance, and engineering change upgrades to maximize customer satisfaction and meet financial objectives.
  • You will schedule personnel responding to critical situations.
  • You will demonstrate leadership qualities to lead people effectively.
  • You will perform management responsibilities such as implementing company policies, ensuring employee growth, managing resources, and maintaining awareness of business and market trends.
  • You will oversee all building interface requirements, planning, installation of equipment, room commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
  • You will maintain communication with customer project management, engineering, QA/RA, sales, PT general management, and service management to ensure smooth handover and support.
  • You will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation.
  • You will uphold high standards of professionalism and safety according to VMS guidelines, ensuring activities are performed under safe conditions in Indonesia.
  • You will maintain proper records and systems.
  • You will seek and implement improvements in installation and commissioning processes for cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
  • You will work independently, with project planning provided by the Customer Project Manager.
  • You will work at customer sites long-term based on project needs and scope.
Your Expertise:
  • Masters of Science or Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent); 5 years of related experience.
  • 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in business tools such as Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems like Workday is desirable.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both spoken and written.
