Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a qualified SISM Project & Engineering Staff 2 to join our procurement and compliance functions in Jakarta/Kelapa Gading. The role focuses on cost-effective procurement for maritime services and building strong supplier partnerships.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering-related degree, up to 6 months of relevant experience, and demonstrates vendor management, negotiation skills, and fluent English with solid computing ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any major; naval architecture or marine engineering preferred.
• 0–6 months of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in vendor management and negotiation.
• Fluent in English and proficient in computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost-effective procurement strategies for maritime services while optimizing expenditure.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures, QSHE standards, TMSA, OCIMF, IMO and ISO frameworks.
• Contribute to implementation of an Integrated Management System and risk control.
