Job summary

DELOS in Jakarta seeks a QA/Quality Inspector to monitor shrimp production from raw material to finished product in our facility. You will ensure compliance with buyer specifications and quality standards, and perform in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspections.

You will verify quality records and support HACCP, GMP, SSOP, traceability, and audits to drive continuous improvement across plants and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shrimp production from raw material to finished product.
• Ensure production complies with buyer specifications, product standards, and quality requirements.
• Conduct in-process, finished product, and pre-shipment inspections.
• Inspect shrimp quality including size/count, appearance, defects, temperature, glazing, net weight, packaging, labeling, and other customer requirements.
• Identify quality issues and work closely with Production and QA teams on corrective actions.
• Verify HACCP, GMP, SSOP, traceability, and quality records.
• Support and participate in BRC/BRCGS, HACCP, buyer, and customer audits.
• Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints and follow up on CAPA.
• Prepare clear and accurate inspection and quality reports.
• Work closely with processing plants, suppliers, production teams, and management to continuously improve product quality.
