Job description

Join our team in Amandari. Presided over by a sacred stone tiger, Amandari was designed after a traditional Balinese village on the verdant lip of the Ayung River Gorge. Free-standing guest suites are reached via winding pathways, while the curving swimming pool mimics the rice paddies below. Close to the artistic centre of Ubud, this place of peace invites both reflection and the exploration of Bali’s cultural heart.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and engaging with customers in a positive, polite manner
  • Providing accurate information about products, including pricing, features, and availability
  • Processing guest payments using cash registers, credit card machines, and other point-of-sale systems
  • Assisting guest with locating products in the store and providing product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
  • Performing inventory management tasks such as restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts
  • Maintaining store cleanliness by cleaning shelves, counters, and displays, and organizing products
  • Handling guest complaints and issues, and escalating them to management when necessary
  • Performing opening and closing duties, such as counting cash drawers and securing the store
  • Assisting with store merchandising tasks, such as setting up window displays or promotional areas

Requirements

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Friendly, engaging, and service-oriented personality.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
