Shipping Foreman

Responsibilities:

1. Strategize and oversee berthing/unberthing processes aligned with corporate requirements.
2. Arrange and manage schedules for all marine fleet movements.
3. Communicate berthing plans and port conditions (e.g., wharf, currents, wind) to shipmasters upon arrival.
4. Collaborate with departments to manage ship charter parties and demurrage.
5. Supervise ship-to-ship activities and coordinate with stakeholders, including masters and agents.
6. Monitor cargo operations, address delays, and maintain operational records.
7. Ensure compliance with port regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
8. Prepare reports on operational performance and suggest improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or port operations.
2. Minimum Diploma’s degree in Maritime Studies, or related field preferred.
3. Proficient in dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office; ERP familiarity is a plus.
4. Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
5. Knowledge of maritime standards and cargo handling procedures.
6. Willing to be placed in Bulungan, North Kalimantan with roster.
