Job summary

PT Hon Chuan Indonesia is seeking a Mechanical Electrical Technician (Utility) to operate and monitor utility equipment during shifts, including air compressors, boilers, chillers, and electrical systems. You will work with the Shift Leader to ensure reliable utility supply and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires 1–3 years in food & beverage manufacturing, knowledge of PLC controls (Omron/Siemens/Mitsubishi), and willingness to work in Ngoro, Mojokerto.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of the operation and maintenance of utility equipment, including pumps, compressors, boilers, blowers, chillers, and other mechanical systems
• Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Experience in maintaining piping systems, valves, and storage tanks is an advantage
• Good understanding of industrial electrical systems and PLC controls (Omron, Siemens, or Mitsubishi)
• Able to read electrical schematics/diagrams and troubleshoot electrical control panels
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems is an advantage
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is an advantage
• Willing to work in shift schedule
• Willing to be based in Ngoro, Mojokerto

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utility equipment during shift operations, including air compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, WTP, WWTP, and electrical systems
• Work closely with the Shift Leader to ensure the continuous and reliable supply of utility services during the assigned shift
• Troubleshoot and resolve utility equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on utility equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules and procedures
