Job summary

RGE Pte Ltd is seeking a Shift Technician in Electrical RS & RKE Maintenance to support our power facilities. The role involves hands-on electrical installation, maintenance and repair to ensure reliable operations.

You will execute wiring plans for lighting and intercom, install equipment for alarms, connect wiring, inspect systems, and perform troubleshooting. A degree in the related field is required, and 1-2 years' experience is a plus; willingness to relocate to the job location is expected.

Responsibilities

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for lighting, intercom and other systems.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems.
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, circuit-breaker panels).
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
• Prevent breakdowns by inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
