PT LIUGONG MACHINERY INDONESIA is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead a team responsible for mining equipment upkeep and reliability. You will guide technicians, oversee safety and procedures, and ensure on-time maintenance and fast response to breakdowns.

The role focuses on preventative maintenance planning, equipment inspections, and coordinating with parts to minimize downtime while maintaining high safety standards across the site in Kalimantan Selatan, Indonesia.

Formación

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on mining, construction, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a mining or industrial setting.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and service staff, ensuring tasks meet timelines and safety standards.
• Provide guidance in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on mining equipment.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide training, and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Oversee routine maintenance and repair of mining machinery, vehicles, and equipment for operational efficiency.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules and inspect equipment regularly.
• Respond to unplanned breakdowns and manage emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure spare parts availability.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and service staff, ensuring all tasks are performed in accordance with project timelines and safety standards.

Provide guidance and support in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on mining equipment.

Conduct performance reviews, provide training, and ensure adherence to operational procedures.

Maintenance Operations:

Oversee the routine maintenance and repair of all mining machinery, vehicles, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment is inspected regularly.

Respond promptly to unplanned breakdowns and manage emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime.

Coordinate with the parts department to ensure the availability of spare parts and tools for ongoing maintenance activities.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety across the team.

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of equipment and maintenance areas, addressing any risks or non-compliance issues immediately.

Monitor adherence to the company’s safety protocols and industry standards.

Project Planning & Coordination:

Assist in the development of maintenance budgets, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within financial constraints.

Manage the coordination of service schedules to minimize impact on project production and operational activities.

Collaborate with the project management team to develop strategies for minimizing equipment downtime and optimizing machinery life.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service reports, and parts inventories.

Prepare regular maintenance and service reports for senior management, identifying issues, recommendations, and action plans.

Document and update procedures as necessary to reflect the latest maintenance practices and safety protocols.

Job Requirements:

MinimumDiploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum Experience of5+ years of hands‑on experience in mining, construction, or heavy equipment maintenance.

At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a mining or industrial setting.

Having a POP certificate is a must.
