Job description

We are currently looking for a Service Engineer specializing in power systems and data center environments. This role involves installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems such as UPS, switchgear, transformers, generators, and PDUs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, understands mission-critical operations, and is able to work in high-pressure environments ensuring minimal downtime.

We are currently representing one of our clients, an infrastructure services provider in the Data Center industry who is looking to expand their team.

Description

• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of electrical power systems for data center facilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems including UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), LV/MV switchgear, generators, battery banks, and power distribution units (PDUs)
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards and client requirements
• Perform site inspections, load testing, and system performance evaluations
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery
• Prepare technical reports, service logs, and recommendations following site visits
• Ensure all works comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Profile

• Minimum Bachelor's or Diploma Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical service/maintenance, especially in power systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems, LV/MV switchgear, gensets, and electrical distribution systems
• Familiar with safety standards, electrical codes, and operational procedures in critical infrastructure
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams
• Good communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel to client sites and be part of on-call duty rotations
