RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resolve second-level technical incidents and service requests by adhering to operational procedures and ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor system and application performance regularly, conduct preventive maintenance, and proactively detect potential disruptions before they impact services.
- Collaborate with Junior Engineers (L1) to guide issue resolution and skill development, while escalating complex or unresolvable cases to Senior Analysts or Specialists (L3).
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for incidents, maintenance, and deployment activities to ensure knowledge continuity and operational transparency.
- Communicate progress updates and technical resolutions clearly to internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment and managing expectations effectively.
- Contribute to structured problem management and change management processes, working alongside Analysts to address root causes and prevent recurrences.
- Support internal learning initiatives, including onboarding assistance, documentation updates, and occasional training support to enhance team capabilities.
- Assist in deployment, upgrade, or patching activities by executing predefined procedures and ensuring system stability throughout the change process.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related disciplines, with fresh graduates welcome to apply.
- Understands core concepts of application architecture, relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), networking (routing, subnetting), and Linux environments.
- Able to write and understand basic Bash or Python scripts for task automation and operational troubleshooting.
- Familiar with using Excel formulas for data handling and preferably comfortable with English for documentation and basic communication.
- Experienced in general troubleshooting and system diagnostics, with awareness of routine maintenance practices and structured escalation handling.
- Exposure to ticketing systems and dashboard-based monitoring tools for managing and tracking technical incidents or requests.
- Demonstrates adaptability to new tools and workflows, with a disciplined and structured approach to task execution.
- Has interest or basic experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus, and a curiosity to learn about system observability.
- Communicates clearly and respectfully with both peers and clients, and maintains composure when handling high-pressure tasks or escalations.
- Works well in collaborative teams, actively contributing to shared goals and supporting team progress with a cooperative attitude.
- Stays organized when managing daily tasks, prioritizing based on urgency while following guidance and documentation.
