Job summary

Weir Minerals in Jakarta is seeking a Service Centre Manager to lead a dynamic team delivering maintenance and repair solutions for the mining sector, including rubber lining, mechanical services and pump rebuilds.

You will drive operational excellence, ensure safety and compliance with company standards, manage budgets, and nurture customer relationships with mining clients. This is an on-site leadership role in a global engineering group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years in service center or workshop management within mining or heavy industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in rubber lining, mechanical services, and pump rebuild operations (desirable).
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all service centre activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Maintain strong relationships with mining customers, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
• Supervise and develop service center staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and performance.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and profitability of the service centre as well as oversee inventory of parts and materials to support service operations.
