Job summary

PT Esensi Solusi Buana (ESB) is seeking an SEO Intern to support keyword research, content optimization, and basic performance monitoring within the marketing team. You will gain hands-on experience in on-page SEO and basic technical SEO while contributing to real campaigns.

Ideal candidates are final-year students or fresh graduates with strong Bahasa Indonesia and English writing skills, familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets, and a proactive, agile mindset to learn and adapt.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with keyword research and understanding user intent.
• Help optimize website pages and SEO articles while maintaining quality.
• Update meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal links accurately.
• Support basic competitor and SERP research with objective analysis.
• Monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, and website performance with clear reporting.
• Assist with basic technical SEO checks and crawl website for issues.
• Prepare simple SEO reports for team evaluation.
• Support other SEO-related tasks with guidance from the team.

Responsibilities

As an SEO Intern, you will support our SEO activities by helping with keyword research, content optimization, website checks, and basic performance monitoring. We look for proactive learners who lead with honesty in traffic and ranking reports, empathy for user search intent and experience, and agility to adapt to fast‑changing search engine algorithms. You will gain hands‑on experience in content SEO, on‑page SEO, and basic technical SEO while working with the marketing team.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Assist with basic keyword research with empathy to understand user intent and what people are truly searching for.
• Help optimize website pages and SEO articles with empathy for the reader's experience while maintaining content quality.
• Update meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links with honesty and accuracy to accurately reflect page content.
• Support basic competitor and SERP research with honesty and objective analysis.
• Help monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, and website performance with total honesty and transparent reporting.
• Assist with basic technical SEO checks, such as: page indexing status, sitemap and robots.txt, and basic website crawling with agility to spot and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Help prepare simple SEO reports with honesty and clarity for team evaluation.
• Support other SEO‑related tasks with guidance from the team through high agility and proactive learning.

Requirements

• Final‑year student or fresh graduate, preferably with no remaining classes or academic commitments, demonstrating the agility to focus fully on internship deliverables.
• Interested in SEO and digital marketing with a passion for continuous learning and agility.
• Basic understanding of SEO is preferred, combined with empathy for how users navigate search engines.
• Good writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English with empathy to create engaging, user‑friendly content.
• Familiar with Google Docs and Google Sheets to facilitate agile and transparent team collaboration.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to enhance productivity with agility.
• Detail‑oriented and willing to learn with honesty and self‑awareness.
• Able to communicate and work well with the team, showing high empathy and mutual support.

• Experience writing articles or blog content driven by empathy for audience interest.
• Familiar with Google Search Console to track site health with precision and honesty.
• Familiar with SEO tools such as Ahrefs with the agility to extract meaningful data insights.
