Senior Valve Engineer

The Senior Valve Engineer will be responsible for the engineering design, analysis, and development of valve and piping systems. This position reports directly to the Design and Development (D&D) Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Design and calculate valve products, ensuring compliance with client requests and corporate standards.
• Prepare design documentation following API Q1 standards.
• Provide analysis, technical assistance, and recommendations based on customer datasheets related to valve engineering or other products.
• Make key design decisions within the D&D department and coordinate with other departments.
• Create or prepare documents related to the design development process.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and API Q1 management system procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the valve industry as a valve design engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Understanding of materials used in valves.
• Knowledge of standards & codes such as ASTM, API, ASME.
• Competence in API monogram products.
• Knowledge of valve assembly and testing processes.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
