Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in modelling software (VISUM, VISSIM, EMME, CUBE).
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Arup is seeking a Senior Transport Modeller to lead and deliver transport modelling and planning projects across Indonesia and the ASEA region. This role involves strategic and microsimulation modelling, traffic impact assessments, and supporting infrastructure and development projects. The successful candidate will contribute to technical excellence, client engagement, and team development in a collaborative and innovative environment

The Opportunity

  • Deliver and oversee transport modelling analysis using macro and microsimulation tools, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.
  • Conduct traffic impact assessments and future transport studies to support infrastructure and development planning.
  • Present findings and lead discussions with clients and stakeholders, contributing to project bids and proposals.
  • Manage project resources and budgets, provide guidance and training to junior staff, and support team development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations in transport analytics, and apply this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.

Is this role right for you?

  • Tertiary qualifications in transport planning, civil engineering (with transport focus), or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in transport planning, modelling, or traffic engineering.
  • Proficiency in modelling software such as VISUM, VISSIM, EMME, and CUBE.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian transport regulations and standards; experience in transport master planning is a plus.
