About the Client
Our client is a leading bulk commodities trading company specializing in the trade of coal, nickel, and manganese ore across global markets. With a strong presence in international trade, they are seeking an experienced Trade Finance to oversee and manage all financial transactions related to trade, including Letter of Credit (L/C) documentation, banking relationships, and risk management.

Job Description

• Manage the full trade finance process, including handling Letters of Credit (L/Cs), SKBDN, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of financial transactions.
• Work closely with traders, operations, and finance teams to facilitate international trade transactions.
• Ensure compliance with global trade finance regulations and banking requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial partners to support business operations.
• Assess financial risk for trade deals and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in trade finance, preferably in a commodities trading environment.
• Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit (L/Cs), SKBDN, and other trade finance regulations.
• Proven experience dealing with banks, financial institutions, and trade finance instruments.
• Solid understanding of commodity trading operations, payment terms, and financial risk management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with bankers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial transactions.
• Fluency in English.
