Job summary

NTT DATA in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Team Lead, Software Engineering/Architecture to guide a team of developers and architects. You will own end-to-end delivery of Dynamics 365 BC and F&O, shaping architecture for finance and operations modules and coordinating client-facing requirements.

The role emphasizes mentoring, robust integration work, and adherence to delivery standards while supporting pre-sales and project governance. An experienced leader in MS Dynamics is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365, with at least 3 years in a lead/team management role.
• Platform depth: Hands-on with both Business Central and Finance & Operations (F&O)
• Technical: AL language, X++, Power Platform integration, Azure DevOps for ALM
• Integration: REST/OData APIs, Data Management Framework (F&O), middleware/ETL tools
• Delivery methodology: Experience with Microsoft Sure Step or D365 implementation; Agile/Scrum familiarity
• Domain: Banking/financial services or regulated industries preferred
• Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MB-800, MB-300/310) in progress/held
• Education: Bachelor's in Information Systems/CS/Accounting or related

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of consultants across multiple projects.
• Own solution architecture decisions for finance, procurement, and operations modules.
• Coordinate requirement gathering, gap-fit analysis, data mapping, SIT/UAT, and go-live cutover.
• Interface with client stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee integration work (APIs, middleware, third-party systems) between D365 and adjacent platforms.
• Manage project risk, scope, resourcing, and escalations; report status to leadership.
• Establish and enforce delivery standards, coding/configuration conventions, and documentation.
• Support pre-sales activities (scoping, effort estimation, proposal input).

The Senior Team Lead, Software Engineering/Architecture is a developing management role, tasked with providing regular operational support to a team of developers, engineers and/or architects by planning, directing and coordinating team activities to ensure that customer and business expectations are met.

This role ensures that software engineering and architecture projects are delivered on time and within the agreed budget whilst meeting the required quality standards.

The Senior Team Lead, Software Engineering/Architecture contributes to the development of standards, policies and procedures related to the function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Dynamics 365 BC and F&O projects - implementation, upgrade, integration, and managed services/support
• Manage and mentor a team of functional and technical consultants across multiple concurrent projects
• Own solution architecture decisions for finance, procurement, and operations modules
• Coordinate requirement gathering, gap-fit analysis, data mapping, SIT/UAT, and go-live cutover activities
• Interface directly with client stakeholders (Finance, IT, Procurement) to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Oversee integration work (APIs, middleware, third-party systems) between D365 and adjacent platforms
• Manage project risk, scope, resourcing, and escalations; report status to delivery leadership
• Establish and enforce delivery standards, coding/configuration conventions, and documentation practices
• Support pre-sales activities - solution scoping, effort estimation, and proposal input when needed

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365, with at least 3 years in a lead/team management role
• Platform depth: Hands-on experience with both Business Central and Finance and Operations (candidates strong in only one, with working exposure to the other, may be considered)
• Functional modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Procurement, and Financial Reporting (PSAK/IFRS awareness a plus for Indonesia-based clients)
• Technical skills: AL language (BC extensions), X++ (F&O), Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps) integration, Azure DevOps for ALM
• Integration experience: REST/OData APIs, Data Management Framework (F&O), middleware/ETL tools
• Delivery methodology: Experience with Microsoft Sure Step or Dynamics 365 implementation methodology; Agile/Scrum familiarity
• Domain: Prior experience in banking, financial services, retail, manufacturing, or regulated industries strongly preferred
• Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-800, MB-300/310, or equivalent) required or in progress will be and added values.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field
