Job summary

SBK Tax Consultant Plus, a tax consulting firm in South Jakarta, seeks a Supervisor Tax Consultant to lead multiple client assignments, ensure high-quality outputs, and mentor a team of senior, associate, and junior consultants.

This semi-manager level role reports to a Partner and involves client-facing responsibilities, tax examinations support, and strategic tax planning in Indonesian regulations. Competitive package and professional development await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Accounting / Taxation or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in taxation, preferably from tax consulting firms and/or Public Accounting Firms (KAP).
• Deep understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (UU KUP, UU PPh, UU PPN, UU HPP and implementing regulations).
• Experience handling SP2DK, tax examinations, and objections.
• Proficiency in Coretax DJP and related DJP tax applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting/tax software.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide value-added recommendations.
• Excellent oral and written communication to interact with clients at various levels, including management.
• Leadership capability to guide team and coordinate work.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve team results on calculations, payments, and reporting of SPT Masa and SPT Tahunan PPh Badan dan Orang Pribadi.
• Present Fiscal Reconciliation and PPh Badan calculations, including complex fiscal corrections.
• Ensure all assignments are completed on time according to reporting deadlines and office quality standards.
• Lead handling of SP2DK, tax examinations, and research (including restitution/refund of overpayment).
• Develop strategy and written responses to SPHP and accompany clients in closing conferences.
• Prepare and review objection letters and prepare materials for appeal process with Tax Manager/Legal Representative.
• Analyze client tax position and provide recommendations for lawful and effective tax planning.
• Prepare tax opinions, memos, and tax reviews/tax diagnostics on client transactions and business activities.
• Serve as primary client contact for daily assignments and build long-term relationships.
• Guide, delegate, and evaluate work of Senior Tax and team members.
