SSJK Consulting in Jakarta seeks a Senior Tax Consultant to deliver comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services for a diverse corporate client base. This full-time role is based in South Jakarta with a collaborative team and client-facing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, at least 3 years in a professional services firm, USKP A/B certification, and proficiency with Coretax and both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Fiscal Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional services firm.
• Has USKP A or B certification.
• Familiarity with tax software such as Coretax.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing tax returns, calculations, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assisting with tax audits, tax objection and tax appeal process.
• Researching and interpreting tax legislation and regulations to provide insightful recommendations.
• Collaborating with team to deliver excellent tax solutions.
• Providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with clients and team.
• Mentoring and training associate members of the tax team to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and best practices.

About the role

SSJK Consulting is seeking a talented Senior Tax Consultant to join our team in South Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and reviewing tax returns, calculations, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assisting with tax audits, tax objection and tax appeal process
• Researching and interpreting tax legislation and regulations to provide insightful recommendations
• Collaborating with team to deliver excellent tax solutions
• Providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with clients and team
• Mentoring and training associate members of the tax team to develop their skills and knowledge
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and best practices

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Fiscal Administration
• At least 3 years of experience in a professional services firm
• Has USKP A or B certification
• Familiarity with tax software is an advantage, e.g. Coretax
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Comprehensive understanding of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain tax matters to clients
• A proactive, collaborative, and client‑centric approach to delivering tax solution
