Job summary

PT. UNIVERSAL CARPET AND RUGS is seeking a Senior Tax Supervisor to lead the accounting and tax function, ensuring compliant reporting and strategic tax planning in Indonesia. You will mentor staff, handle audits, and coordinate with tax authorities while staying current with Indonesian tax laws and PSAK standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in Accounting & Tax, Brevet A & B certificates, and proficiency with ERP and Advanced Excel. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting & Tax.
• Brevet A & B certificates are required or preferred.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian tax laws (HPP Law) and PSAK standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel (macros, Power Query, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and annual consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Oversee tax calculations, payments, and reporting for all corporate taxes (Income Tax Articles 21, 23, 25, 4(2); VAT; CIT).
• Compile and reconcile data for tax purposes.
• Conduct lawful tax planning to optimize tax compliance efficiency.
• Represent the company during internal and external audits with the Tax Office (KPP).
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting and tax staff.
• Conduct budget analysis and provide financial recommendations to management.
