Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a tax professional to join our finance team. You will review drafts of tax returns, align GL data, and prepare materials for audits, ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.

You will monitor tax law changes, produce monthly tax status reports, and contribute to new contracts' tax aspects while maintaining strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as tax consultant.
• Good understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh, PPN, e-Faktur, e-Bupot, VAT, etc).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Brevet A & B certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review drafts of Periodic Tax Returns (Income Tax Articles 21, 23, 4(2), VAT) and Annual Corporate Tax Returns prepared by staff.
• Align data in the financial statements (GL) with the taxable objects reported in the Tax Return.
• Prepare data, supporting documents, and technical arguments for tax audits.
• Monitor the latest changes in tax laws and analyze their impact on the company.
• Prepare monthly reports on the company's tax status.
• Provide input on the tax aspects of new contracts or business schemes.
• Ensure billing codes are created and tax payments are made before the due date to avoid penalties.
• Implement Integrated Management System in the department and manage risks.
• Foster commitment to ICS requirements and information security controls.
