Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Supply Chain Scheduler to manage inventory levels of raw materials and components. You will plan materials to meet the Master Production Schedule, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor service rates to secure on-time availability for production.

You will also drive inventory reductions where needed, validate weekly supplier forecasts, and communicate reliably with internal teams and external contacts to support smooth logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Supply chain planning for raw materials and components to ensure MPS realization.
• Follow up MPS achievement and propose preventives actions to ensure availability.
• Define and lead actions connected with inventory reductions for component families.
• Measure SSR for each supplier and report daily inventory levels of materials.
• Plan requirements based on SIOP/ Master Production Schedule and liaise with suppliers and production.
• Validate and send weekly forecasts to suppliers and ensure on-time shipping of firm orders.
• Communicate accurate information to supplier contacts and adapt communication methods by situation.
• Attend logistics/purchasing meetings and support tools/methods to improve supply chain.
• Define inbound transportation plans with External flow analyst and assist inventory counting.
