Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin for daily bilingual communication and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, International Trade or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of full-cycle supply chain management experience in manufacturing (preferably FMCG or tobacco).
• Strong understanding of local Indonesian supplier resources, warehousing standards and logistics operations.
• Ability to travel globally if required and to work with China headquarters.

Job description

We are seeking a talented local Indonesian Supply Chain Manager with fluent English and Mandarin proficiency to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for our snus and tobacco manufacturing facility. This role independently manages full-cycle procurement, vendor development and management, warehouse and inventory control, inbound and outbound logistics, as well as overall supply chain cost optimization and risk mitigation. You will ensure stable material supply, standardized warehouse operations and efficient logistics arrangement while controlling operational costs. You must strictly comply with local Indonesian industrial regulations and compliance requirements, conduct daily bilingual communication, data analysis and regular reporting to China headquarters, and support the factory’s stable, standardized and sustainable production and operation.

Job Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Procurement Management: Manage full-range procurement activities covering production raw materials, auxiliary materials, packaging materials and daily operational supplies. Conduct supplier sourcing, screening, evaluation, business negotiation and contract administration, and maintain long-term stable vendor relationships to ensure consistent material quality, sufficient supply and optimal procurement cost.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Control: Take full charge of daily warehouse operations, including goods receiving, warehousing, issuance, regular stocktaking and inventory discrepancy resolution. Standardize warehouse SOPs, ensure high inventory accuracy, and effectively avoid overstock, stock-out and material waste risks.

3. Logistics Supervision & Optimization: Oversee inbound material logistics and finished goods outbound delivery. Manage and evaluate local logistics service providers, optimize transportation schedules and routes, reduce logistics costs, and ensure timely, safe and compliant cargo delivery.

4. Cost Control & Risk Management: Monitor real-time raw material market price trends, formulate scientific and flexible procurement plans, and continuously optimize overall supply chain costs. Establish a complete supply chain risk early-warning system to promptly resolve delivery delays, material defects and other supply chain abnormalities.

5. Cross-team Coordination & Headquarters Reporting: Compile daily supply chain operational data, prepare periodic procurement, inventory and logistics analysis reports, and submit standardized reports to China headquarters on schedule. Cooperate closely with production, finance and other departments to support smooth plant operation.

6. Process Standardization & System Improvement: Optimize and standardize local supply chain management workflows in accordance with Indonesian industrial compliance rules and headquarters management systems, realizing standardized, institutionalized and streamlined operation of factory procurement, warehousing and logistics management.

Job Requirements

1. Preference will be given to candidates with Singaporean or Indonesian citizenship who can accommodate global business travel arrangements.

2. Fully bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken & written), capable of independent business negotiation, official document processing and direct work reporting to China headquarters.

3. Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, International Trade or related fields.

4. Minimum 6 years of full-cycle supply chain management experience in manufacturing; candidates with snus, tobacco or FMCG manufacturing background are highly preferred.

5. Well-versed in local Indonesian supplier resources, warehouse management standards and local logistics operation mechanisms; competent in cost optimization, vendor relationship management and supply chain risk handling.
