A leading mining company in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor. This role involves supervising electrical maintenance for multiple plants to ensure maximum uptime. Candidates should have 8-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance and at least 3 years in a leadership role. The ideal applicant will possess strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of electrical systems.
This role is responsible for supervising electrical maintenance of the Electro Refinery (ER), Precious Metal Refinery (PMR), MRSS including associated infrastructure and equipment during the assigned shift in order to maximise uptime of the plant and machinery.
Some of your duties will include:
Supervising execution of preventive maintenance schedule and annual shutdown plan for all electrical equipment of the Electro Refinery (ER), Precious Metal Refinery (PMR), MRSS including their associated infrastructure and equipment in coordination with the operations team during the assigned shift to maximise machine contribution, plant availability and uptime
Conducting routine inspection of existing equipment during the assigned shift to check their functioning as per standard parameters/ efficiency indices and supervising corrective action in case of any deviation
Supervising updation of daily production logs and spare inventory during the assigned shift
Supervising implementation of SOPs and WIs during the assigned shift
Supervising implementation of predictive maintenance schedule during the assigned shift
Giving inputs on consumption patterns for preparation of the R&M budget with respect to electrically operated plant, machinery and equipment under maintenance jurisdiction
Supervising maintenance of electrical equipment during the assigned shift, to support quality compliance, budgeted production and efficiencies
Supervising immediate maintenance in case of equipment breakdown or deviation of specified parameters towards restoration of operations
Supervising deployment of optimum manpower, during the assigned shift, for electrical maintenance under jurisdiction
What skills and experience do you need?
Graduate Engineer/ Diploma Engineer/ Trade certificate in Electrical Engineering
8 - 10 years in Electrical maintenance of process plants with at least 3 years of experience of leading teams
Understanding of installation and commissioning of MV/LV transformers, MV & LV switch gears, ESPs, Servo motors and drives, Variable frequency drives, relay coordination and protection, MV LV motors, PCC and MCC, earthing systems, cranes,HVAC etc.
Thorough understanding of inspection and maintenance of Electrical systems
Ability for creative problem solving and troubleshooting
Planning and organization skills
Interpersonal effectiveness and Conflict management
