Job Description

• Senior level position with advanced knowledge and a specialized depth or breadth of expertise, gaining a mastery of a single area or multiple broader areas of specialty, product, and systems. May also lead small groups in projects or teams.
• Awarded a 4 or 5 year technical degree in science or engineering. Trained in leadership and project execution. Will be actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law.
• Typically, 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Has a strong background in discipline work and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
• Familiarity with offshore codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV, ISO) and offshore installation and construction methodologies, including deep water projects.
• Has strong knowledge of marine engineering principles, including hydrodynamics, soil-structure interaction, and fatigue analysis.
• Has experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and dynamic analysis for offshore structures.
• Has excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation and reports.
• Has experience with project management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in project leadership. Specialized expertise in one or more areas of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.
• Has capability to perform detailed structural analysis and design for offshore platforms, subsea installations, and other marine structures using industry-standard software and methodologies.
• Has experience coordinating the structural engineering aspects of executive-level projects in the oil & gas sector, ensuring that designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.
• Able to oversee the design and integrity of subsea structures, including templates, manifolds, pipelines, and risers, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Has experience conducting load assessments, including environmental loads (wave, wind, current), and ensure that structures are designed to withstand operational and extreme conditions.
• Knowledgeable to ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant industry standards, local regulations, and safety guidelines (e.g., DNV, API, ISO).
• Has capability to identify and mitigate risks related to structural integrity and subsea installations, including fatigue, corrosion, and accidental impacts.
• Has capability to prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and calculations related to offshore and subsea structural engineering, with a focus on detailed engineering for oil & gas projects.
• Able to provide technical support during project execution, including fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases, particularly for complex oil & gas infrastructure.
• To have an Indonesia passport.
