Job description

Group Planning supports the Bank in the origination and execution of key strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, investments and joint ventures, divestments, capital management, and other ad-hoc strategic initiatives to maximize the Bank's financial and competitive position.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Strategy and Planning in executing duties related to strategic initiatives and project management, assisting the BOD and bank management.
• Collaborate with management to develop and shape the overall strategy for the Bank.
• Oversee the submission of annual regulatory reports (RBB/RPPB), including monitoring and quarterly reporting.
• Partner with Business Units and Support Units to drive new business initiatives.
• Lead due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and periodic reporting on governance matters (e.g., RBBR, Corporate Plan).
• Ensure strategies and plans are aligned to create maximum value from current and existing businesses.
• Assist in developing the Bank's strategic plans and prioritize key initiatives to improve performance.
• Implement and oversee a management framework to monitor and measure the progress of strategic initiatives.
• Support new business development strategies, exploring growth opportunities and evaluating proposals.
• Implement and support strategic initiatives across business units and support functions.
• Integrate group research to enhance market understanding, identify opportunities and risks, and support data-driven strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking, with at least 5 years in strategy, corporate planning, or project management.
• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university.
