Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Sponsor Dedicated Medical Writer II for a remote-based role. You will lead medical writing deliverables for clinical studies and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant submissions.

Requirements include 3–5 years of medical writing experience in biopharma or CRO, experience with Veeva/CARA, and excellent English grammar. This position offers global collaboration and opportunities to mentor junior writers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in science, technical, or medical writing.
• Experience working in the biopharmaceutical, device, or contract research organization industry required.
• Strong understanding of FDA and ICH regulations, other regulatory guidelines, and/or good publication practices strongly required.
• Experience writing relevant document types required.
• Experience in working with Veeva/CARA.
• Extensive knowledge of English grammar and ability to communicate clearly; strong familiarity with AMA Manual of Style.

Responsibilities

• Leads the clear and accurate completion of medical writing deliverables, coordinating activities with minimal supervision.
• Produces a wide range of documents including protocols, reports, narratives, summaries, and submissions.
• Adheres to regulatory standards (ICH E3, SOPs, templates) for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinates quality reviews and manages source documentation.
• Mentors junior writers on complex projects as needed.
• Interacts with clients and cross-functional teams to produce high-quality writing deliverables.
