Job description

Project BOM cost tracking and management, including CBOM cost updates based on design and market changes, cost summaries and reports, cost analysis, changelog management, cost opportunity and risk identification, CPM analysis, etc.

Sourcing plan management, including tracking new part and new supplier statuses, critical parts risk assessment, tooling status, and BOM part decision alignment with cross-functional teams, including decisions on new/ carryover, make/buy, critical parts.

Attend project meetings as a representative of the sourcing team to ensure actions are tracked and followed up. Manage ECR/ECN changes in projects and update costs accordingly.

Support VAVE discussions between suppliers and cross-functional teams for cost reduction and profit improvement.

Support new projects from the sourcing side by coordinating activities such as new samples/prototypes, tooling, DFMA, and document collection (CDF/FCM).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in project costing or sourcing, preferably in manufacturing environments such as home appliances and automotive industries.

Strong knowledge in project cost management, CBOM cost analysis and reporting, product and parts costing, including TCO and cost breakdown concepts, procurement tools, and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, electronics, assembly, etc.

Understanding of project management and schedule management from sourcing perspectives across project gates and milestones.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience in engaging key stakeholders, preferably in global multinational teams.

Ability to think strategically, work independently, solve problems, handle diverse information from different counterparts, and possess good data analysis and summarization skills.
