Senior Specialist – Procurement & Contract

We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Procurement & Contract to oversee procurement and contracting activities for the operations and maintenance of an LNG Terminal and Regasification facility, serving our mining sector client.

This position is critical in delivering efficient, cost-effective sourcing while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational objectives.

Job Responsibilities

1. Procurement Execution: Manage end-to-end sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for LNG terminal operations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
2. Vendor & Contract Management: Evaluate, select, and maintain supplier relationships; lead contract negotiations while enforcing compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
3. Logistics Coordination: Oversee shipment schedules, customs clearance, and trade documentation to guarantee timely and compliant delivery of goods.
4. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous procurement records and ensure all activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
5. Cost Efficiency: Monitor market trends and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost reductions without compromising quality or reliability.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, finance, and legal teams to align procurement strategies with operational and business objectives.

Job Requirements

1. Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM) are highly advantageous.
2. Experience: 8–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in LNG, oil & gas, or mining industries.
3. Technical Knowledge: Solid expertise in LNG operations, industrial procurement, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
4. Skills & Tools: Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), with strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Language & IT Proficiency: Fluent in English and computer literate.
6. Work Conditions: Must be willing to work in remote/mine-site locations on a 5 days on / 2 days off rotation schedule.
