What you will do

As a Senior Sourcing Lead in the Knowledge Services team, you will be responsible for executing complex and strategic sourcing projects across categories/sub-categories. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into clear statements of work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions. We are seeking candidates with 8-12 years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience, with strong project management skills. Specific category experience in MRO, Capex, Direct materials, or food ingredients is preferred. Team management experience is mandatory.

• Execute complex and strategic sourcing projects, including translating business requirements into statements of work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions.

• Prepare negotiation scripts, negotiate with suppliers, make recommendations, onboard, qualify, and contract with new vendors, ensuring compliance.

• Demonstrate the ability to apply and translate business expertise into innovative strategies that significantly impact the client’s long-term strategic position.

• Manage and optimize sourcing support activities, ensuring adherence to client standards. Provide input to enablement groups.

• Engage with internal and external partners to ensure decisions are comprehensive and support daily execution.

• Manage project allocation, support team members during kickoff meetings, and share best practices.

• Monitor performance against SLAs, drive continuous improvement, and participate in recruitment efforts.

What you should bring

• Minimum 7 years of sourcing and procurement experience (management consulting experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa.
• Experience in direct procurement, especially raw materials and food ingredients, preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and via phone with clients in US/Europe.
• Strong business acumen and self-motivation, able to work independently.
• Consultative skills, including industry best practices and cross-functional experience.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Hands-on experience in sourcing, e-Auction, and category expertise across multiple industries in both direct and indirect categories.
