Job Summary:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. A strong focus will be placed on integrating AWS-native CI/CD tools and utilizing AWS services to create scalable testing environments.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain automated tests across functional, regression, performance, and security scenarios using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Katalon.

Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test strategies, plans, and test data.

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

Ensure code quality by reviewing test code and maintaining version control with GitHub

Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, monitoring results via AWS CloudWatch.

Identify, track, and resolve defects using tools like JIRA, leveraging AWS logs for analysis.

Perform security testing with tools such as AWS Inspector and WAF to address vulnerabilities.

Communicate test progress and results clearly, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or a similar role.

Proven experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, or Appium.

Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Fargate, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, and S3.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, and AWS CodeBuild.

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and monitoring tools like CloudWatch.

Proficiency in defect tracking using JIRA or similar platforms, with strong debugging skills.

Knowledge of security testing tools such as AWS Inspector and AWS WAF.

Solid understanding of version control systems like Git and collaborative code review practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
