Job Descriptions:

1. Responsible for writing server-side web application logic.
2. Develop back-end components, connect the application with the other (often third-party) web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application.
3. Also required to develop and integrate plugins for frameworks (Mekari using Ruby & Go as its framework).
4. Create scale for software product and data processing.
5. Contribute to system architecture and design.
6. Write clear, concise source-code, unit, and integration tests.
7. Be able to think beyond code to create a good user experience.
8. The Developer will work closely with the Lead Engineer, Technical Program Manager, and QA Engineer and also work with our remote overseas engineering team (English is required).
9. Build product features and/or API services.
10. Solve technical problems.
11. Continuously learning and improving.
12. A role model for the junior software engineer team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Experienced developer with a proven track record in problem-solving.
2. At least 5 years of working experience solving complex problems through technology.
3. Required skill(s): Ruby on Rails (preferably) & Go, but open to other stacks as long as having interest in learning Ruby on Rails.
4. Experience in Object Oriented Programming and MVC.
5. Experience in TDD & versioning tool.
6. Good knowledge of API, microservices, and caching solutions.
7. Humble and hungry engineer. Always curious, always looking for a better way.
