Key Responsibilities
- Collect socio-economic data through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and workshops to establish baseline information.
- Conduct socio-economic comprehensive assessments for each assigned project.
- Provide recommendations to integrate socio-economic considerations into the implementation of assigned project.
- Conduct impact analyses that outline the potential benefits and risks associated with assigned project.
- Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, and technical documents.
- Involve and engage stakeholders, including local communities and Indigenous knowledge holders, in the assessment and decision-making process.
- Prepare clear, well-reasoned, and defensible reports, project notes, and final assessments for various audiences.
- Work within multidisciplinary teams, and coordinate with clients, government agencies and other partners.
- Lead fieldwork—selecting case study sites, managing data collection, and supervising survey teams.
- Prepare and manage project work plans, schedules, budgets, and coordinate technical staff or sub-consultants.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Sociology, Anthropology, or a related social science from a reputable university.
- At least 5 years of experience in social or health impact assessments (e.g., AMDAL, ESHIA, etc), social due diligence, or mitigation in environmental consulting—ideally in oil & gas or mining sectors.
- ATPA/ KTPA certification is preferred.
- Solid understanding of socio-economic analysis, environmental law, and Indonesian regulations regarding social impact assessments.
- Demonstrated experience in scientific study design, baseline data collection, and field team management.
- Strong project management and reporting skills—on time, within budget, with well-formulated deliverables.
- Excellent networking ability with stakeholders across private sector, government, NGOs, and academia.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities leveraging scientific literature.
- Fluent in both written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, mobile, and in “Fit for Work” health status.
