A digital finance company in Jakarta is seeking a skilled Senior Social Media Analyst to lead the social media team. This role involves data analysis, managing public sentiment, and operational execution. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in social media monitoring and strong communication skills. This role is critical for strategic recommendations based on social media trends and works closely across various teams.
We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Analyst & Monitoring (Ops) who is not only skilled in data analysis but also hands-on in managing public sentiment on social media. This role combines strategic analysis with day-to-day operational execution and team leadership, ensuring fast, accurate, and relevant responses to digital conversations.
Lead and mentor the social media analyst & monitoring team on a daily basis.
lActively conduct social listening and sentiment analysis related to the brand, competitors, and industry issues.
l Be hands-on in operations: read conversations, classify issues, identify potential crises, and help draft or coordinate responses
Create and maintain regular monitoring reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
Provide strategic recommendations based on social media trends and public feedback.
Collaborate across teams (brand, PR, communications, legal, etc.) to manage sentiment and public issues.
Design efficient and adaptive workflows/SOPs for monitoring and operational processes.
Participate in managing the escalation system for viral or critical issues.
3–5+ years of experience in social media monitoring, analysis, or sentiment handling or customer service.
Prior experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor, or has led a small team.
Hands-on in sentiment handling, understands social media dynamics, and knows when to take action.
Strong communication skills (verbal & written), especially in crafting response narratives or escalations.
Proactive, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and able to think fast in sensitive situations.
Skilled in creating reports and delivering sharp, actionable insights.
Has strong digital empathy, understands social context, and maintains composure in issue handling.
