Pengiklan Anonim is seeking an experienced Naval Architect/Engineering Manager in Batam to lead ship design activities from Basic to Production drawings. You will ensure compliance with classification societies and maritime regulations while guiding a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Production, QA/QC, Procurement and Project teams to meet cost, quality and schedule targets, mentoring engineers, and reviewing drawings before issuance.

Qualificações

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in shipbuilding/shipyard, including 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in commercial or project estimation activities is preferred.
• Proficient in ship design software such as AutoCAD, Maxsurf, Aveva, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of classification society requirements (BKI, ABS, LR, DNV, etc.).
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English or other foreign languages is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee ship design activities, including Basic Design, Detail Design, and Production Drawings.
• Ensure all engineering documents comply with classification society standards and maritime regulations.
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects to achieve project cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the Engineering team to improve performance and productivity.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and technical documents before issuance.
