Job Summary

Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Senior Service Technician based in Batu Hijau, Sumbawa.

This position is responsible for full time maintenance of DR412i and other drill units as per customer request.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for maintenance and repair on DR412i

Implement Sandvik's quality standards for every assigned task.

Follow the directions of the Leading Hand, Supervisor, and Shift Supervisor from both the company and client.

Provide feedback on improvements for any findings that impact the DR412i's performance to the team leader and the technical team/product master.

Ensure two-way communication and reporting across all reporting platforms at Batu Hijau, both in maintenance and operations.

Ensure all work activities are carried out safely and that colleagues and team members also work safely.

Ensure all documents and work permit forms comply with Sandvik and Batu Hijau standards at the start of each job.

Willing and able to continue to develop for every existing technological dynamic and development

COLLABORATION WITH OTHER BUSINESS LINE

As the matrix organization you will be collaborating with many people within Sandvik in both global and SEA regions, including Business Line Managers and factories in Tampere and Alachua.

Report to Leading Hand – Site Supervisor/Technical Support – And Site Manager

Collaboration with the parts team and RoTo team on site

SUPERVISION/MANAGE/ACT AS A COACH

Strong basic skills in Hydraulics and Electricity

Able to effectively communicate any issues and problems and their solutions

Active and willing to work collaboratively in a team, including sharing experiences and knowledge with lower-level team members

Able to work in under pressure situations and provide a positive situation within the team

HEALTH & SAFETY

Champion a proactive and visible commitment to Sandvik’s Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Vision and culture, embedding "Zero Harm" as a strategic business priority.

Ensure EHS leadership is integrated into strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational objectives.

Field - Any environment (Location Customer Sites / Workshops).

Willing to travel globally within Sandvik area and/or from site to site within country of Indonesia.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Over 4 years of experience in maintenance, ideally in the mining or heavy equipment industry.

Proven track record in maintaining and troubleshooting Sandvik or similar OEM mining equipment (e.g., loaders, drill rigs, underground trucks).

Have a strong foundation in electric and hydraulic

Have knowledge and understanding of the Can Bus system

Have experience and understand the risks of working in Sandvik units or other units in the DR412i class
