Job description

Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies specifically for the dump truck market within the nickel mining sector.

Analyze market trends, nickel industry demand, and define market penetration strategies across Maluku & Sulawesi.

Lead, coach, and motivate the regional sales team.

Set and monitor individual and team targets, ensuring consistent achievement of KPIs.

Strategic Customer Relationships

Build and maintain strong business relationships with key accounts (mine owners, major contractors, nickel traders).

Be directly involved in high-level negotiations, long-term contracts, and strategic business decisions with clients.

Business Development

Identify new potential areas for business expansion.

Establish partnerships with local agents, dealers, or relevant stakeholders to strengthen market presence.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with technical support, after-sales service, logistics, and finance teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Serve as the communication bridge between field operations and central management for market insights and operational challenges.

Monitoring & Reporting

Compile performance reports, competitor activities, and market SWOT analysis.

Provide monthly and quarterly updates to Directors or the General Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Marketing or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Deep understanding of the nickel mining industry in Indonesia, especially in Sulawesi and Maluku.

Strong leadership, communication, and high-level negotiation skills.

Comfortable with fieldwork and able to adapt to mining site environments.
