Roles & Responsibilities
This hire is responsible for business development, business process management, and credit analysis & control in the Finance & Leasing market. Managing the daily operations of the Singapore office and expanding the organization’s presence within Asia Pacific markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enhance business & product development using leasing market experience and legal skills.
- Develop market strategies aligned with the company's vision, values, and philosophy to maximize opportunities and achieve targets.
- Handle legal contract matters and manage processes efficiently.
- Oversee credit & risk management using extensive underwriting skills.
- Control liquidation and delinquency issues.
- Design and implement strategies to expand finance business, including financial and leasing services, in coordination with partners and shareholders.
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to set strategic directions and achieve organizational goals with the team.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners locally and abroad to secure favorable terms.
- Analyze risk and compliance variables to ensure sound business decisions and protect the company's brand.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to identify growth opportunities.
- Foster cross-border cooperation and secure transnational projects.
- Collaborate with HQ and management to define corporate strategies and monitor progress.
- Develop revenue streams by setting sales targets and leading the team to meet them.
- Stay updated on market trends and initiate relevant responses.
- Ensure client solutions meet or exceed expectations.
- Support career development of the local management team.
- Manage and develop the marketing team to achieve budget and goals.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in corporate investment.
- Experience in the leasing market.
- Strong credit and underwriting skills, with deep understanding of financial statement analysis.
- Extensive experience handling mid and large ticket leases, loans, and banking/equipment financing products.
- Deep knowledge of leasing and loan documentation for negotiations and closings.
- Excellent interpersonal and business writing skills for stakeholder engagement, contract negotiations, and reporting.
- Problem-solving, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
