A leading engineering firm in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Reservoir Engineer to design and implement solutions for reservoir performance analysis and field development plans. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring reservoir activities and conducting engineering studies to optimize production. Relevant qualifications and experience in oil and gas are required. This role may require travel and availability outside of usual hours.
Design and implement programs solutions for depletion strategies, reservoir performance analysis and field development plans
Provide reservoir engineering input to field development plan
Plan and monitor the reservoir activities, production (operations) data related to oil/ gas reservoir management
Provide input for well construction, prepare requirements for well construction, develop well designs for new wells, and provide technical assistance to drilling staff to ensure that each well is completed in a safe and efficient manner
Plan, manage and ensure reservoir engineering activities to support and optimize production of operating fields e.g. well testing, reservoir pressure acquisition, well performance evaluation, development well proposals
Conducts reservoir engineering studies using appropriate and up-to-date techniques including, but not limited to reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve analysis, well test analysis, PVT and SCAL data analysis, EOR, CCUS, and unconventional methods
Analyze and interpret information from the field using suitable reservoir engineering tools, such as well test evaluation programs, reservoir simulation software, or integrated production modelling for making recommendations aiming at optimizing production and supporting field development
Prepare annual volumes and expenses for budgeting. Monitor and analyze well tests and production curves. Gather, perform calculations and analyze data such as well tests, fluid levels, bottom-hole pressures, and decline curves to assure efficient producing and equipment utilization
