Job summary

Katadata Insight Center (KIC) is seeking a professional to join our team as a Research Analyst in Jakarta. You will lead qualitative and quantitative studies, design research plans, collect and analyze data, and present findings to clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, strong data analytics, and excellent written and verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English. You will work with clients across Indonesia's key sectors and help produce reports, briefs, and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Political Economy, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related fields in Social Sciences.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an analyst or researcher with strong qualitative and quantitative research experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and data analysis skills.
• Experience producing research outputs such as reports, white papers, policy briefs, and other formats.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Willingness to stay updated on Indonesia's strategic sectors (Manufacturing, Green Economy, Energy, Digital Economy, Agriculture, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end research projects from proposal development to report preparation and presentation.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to generate actionable insights for clients.
• Evaluate and develop research methodologies to improve quality and effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Publish research findings as reports, articles, or presentations on various platforms.
• Collaborate with the research team to produce innovative and impactful research.
