Job summary
A cosmetics company in Indonesia is seeking a professional to ensure compliance with BPOM and Halal regulations, manage legal documents, and support internal departments. Ideal candidates hold an Apothecary degree and have 3–5 years of experience in legal compliance within the cosmetics or FMCG industry. Knowledge of BPOM Regulations and Audits is essential. This role is key to maintaining legal standards and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Apothecary degree with valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate / STRA.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in legal compliance, preferably in cosmetics or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge in BPOM Regulations and Audits.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with BPOM, Halal certification, and export-import regulations.
- Manage legal documents, permits, and licenses related to product registration.
- Liaise with government institutions and certification bodies.

- Ensure company compliance with regulations related to BPOM (National Agency of Drug and Food Control), Halal certification, and export-import requirements.
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents, permits, and licenses related to product registration and certification.
- Liaise with government institutions, certification bodies, and external stakeholders to process permits and approvals.
- Monitor updates of laws, regulations, and policies related to cosmetics, BPOM, Halal, and export-import.
- Assist in handling audits, inspections, and legal issues related to product compliance.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents relevant to the company’s business activities.
- Support management in mitigating legal risks and ensuring smooth operations in line with applicable laws.
- Provide legal support and advice to internal departments regarding regulatory compliance, product legality, and trade activities.
- Prepare and responsible to managing DIP (Dokumen Informasi Produk).
Qualifications
- Apothecary degree with valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate / STRA (Surat Tanda Registrasi Apoteker).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in legal compliance, preferably in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry.
- Intends to register SIPA (Surat Izin Praktek Apoteker) and has not yet affiliated it with any company.
- Strong knowledge in BPOM Regulations, BPOM Audits, CPKB, and SKI.
- Having experience in Halal Certification is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking and management skills.
