ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Quality Specialist at LOJEL, your role will involve ensuring the highest quality standards for our luggage, handbags, and accessories.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing quality control processes and addressing quality concerns to create products that inspire adventure.

THE DESCRIPTION

• Based at a key factory location in Indonesia, serve as the liaison between the company and the factory on daily quality issues and support various projects, including new product development.
  
• Closely monitor the quality of daily production and follow up with the factory on root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans (CAP) to address any quality issues.
  
• Collaborate closely with the factory to create and maintain documentation related to quality control procedures, including but not limited to material inspection, key production steps, inspection procedures, and pre-shipment inspections.
  
• Conduct Pre-Production (PP) meetings, inline inspections, and final inspections with suppliers in Indonesia.

YOUR CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection or factory management in the luggage, handbag, garment, or a similar industry.
  
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and manufacturing processes.
  
• Excellent verbal communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  
• Possess a high level of integrity, able to work independently as part of a team, passionate about delivering quality products to customers, persistent in driving for quality improvements, and flexible/adaptable to different approaches to achieve results.
  
• Awareness and ability to apply ESG related initiatives.
• Prior experience in sustainability related projects or in sustainable companies is an advantage.
