Job summary

CoverGo is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure software quality across our 100% remote engineering teams. You will perform manual testing on new technologies, write test scenarios, and validate APIs using Postman or Swagger.

With 4+ years in agile environments, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, report defects with detailed templates, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Proficiency in English and a passion for learning are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manual testing in an agile environment.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman/Swagger or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of QA theory.
• Understand SDLC and lean/agile QA methodologies.
• Excellent teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Eager to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on new technologies
• Identify and resolve simple quality process issues with little to no supervision and guidance
• Write tests scenarios and run them during the testing process
• Identify bugs and report it according to bug template with sufficient detail so that developers can investigate further
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate request/response behavior
• Report status to cross-functional teams
• Execute on defined tasks according to guidelines and contribute to solving problems with defined solutions
• Provide support with the team proactively
• Mastering your craft and leveraging it for greater impact
