Senior QA Engineer

About the role

As our next Quality Assurance, you will get a chance to help our customer by recommending improvements and developing automation to scale our testing process. You will actively collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and DevOps to help Amartha deliver innovative and delightful user experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Improving, enhancing, automating: acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
2. Create test automation script for API and UI automation to improve the regression test efficiency
3. Create load-test script to assess the scalability of our system
4. Create security scan test to detect vulnerability of our system
5. Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
6. Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
7. Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
8. Work together with the software developer to enhance and improve the program

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology)
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in the related field
3. Experience with testing and testing automation tools: Robot Framework, Katalon Studio, Locust, Artillery, Browserstack, ZAP
4. Experience with API testing automation, UI Automation, Load testing, and Security Scanning
5. Knowledge and understanding of modern development techniques, branching strategies (gitflow, feature branches / flags, trunk-based development), and CI/CD
6. Understanding the need for testing automation at all levels: from database to UI
7. Possesses good problem-solving skills (able to identify problems and find simple solutions). Able to think outside the box
8. Fun to work with and a team player
9. Eager to learn (self-learning and from others), share, and grow
10. Self-motivated and able to inspire and motivate others
